Are you ready for a cruise in the amazing fjords of Lofoten? Wildlife, fishing, aquaculture, local villages, the weather and the elements in the Arctic as well as the Arctic landscape and beautiful Lofoten, it is all there waiting for you.
Our knowledgeable English-speaking guide and host will give you an introduction to local history and culture, show you short documentaries and presentations about the area, history, wildlife and the eco-system in the Arctic.
We sail from Svolvær at 11:00 in the morning, and will be in Henningsvær around 11:30. Departure Henningsvær 11:45. Next stop will be Balstad at 13:15, departure 13:30. The last stop before we turn around and go back, will be Reine at 15:00. Here we have a full hour of stop where you can have a look around, before we go back at 16:00.
We do the same route and stops on the way back, so you can choose to stay behind anywhere and still get back home in the afternoon. We are back in Svolvær around 18:30.
Want to experience more of the local culture? Why don´t hop off in Henningsvær and join the «Full Steam» experience, with storytelling from the Viking age to the mid-1900 regarding the codfish history and culture, in the fisherman’s restaurant – from boat to export, stockfish and the important role of the cod liver oil, you are also invited to have a taste of it all!
And great news, you can hop on the boat again on return.
